 (Fasterthanlight) Google released a new browser today that they say is safer and faster than others. The Chrome browser is available for free from their website. <a target=”_blank” href=http://www.google.com/chrome>Download Google Chrome for free here.</a> According to the company they took the best ideas from Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox to create their own concoction.
Right now the browser is only available for Windows users but will soon be available for Mac and Linux. They will also offer the source code for free turning this into an open source project. Developers will be able to design their own applications for Chrome. Linux and various other Open Source web applications have taken over the Internet is favor of products that cost money.
